Happy Monday Lovelies!! I am so excited to share this post!!! For one I am actually in L O V E with this utility shirt and second I am hosting a great G I V E A W A Y. Are you on spring break this week (or maybe your kids are)??? With Declan being at a Catholic school we have close to two more weeks before we get to enjoy some relaxing pool time; you know the whole spring break after Easter thing.
The idea here is to showcase how easy it is to take one key piece and make several different types of outfits. Let’s be serious… I am not made of money but I love different outfits. So I am working on being more selective of what I purchase and making sure everything I buy can be worn in several different ways.
For this one I focused on THIS UTILITY SHIRT and how you can style it three different ways. This utility shirt. You guys I am seriously dying over it. The material is so soft yet durable, the color is spot on perfect for spring and it is so versatile; pssst, it is under $20! The first two looks are pretty classic ways but sometimes we all need a little reminder of those easy styles. The third way was a little ‘outside the box’ approach but probably my favorite.

This classic pairing with denim shorts is simple, elegant and stylish. Who doesn’t love denim shorts in the spring and throwing in a great utility shirt keeps the look trendy and casual. I went with a fun bootie (my favorite ever) as my pedi situation is lacking, ha, and it is a great way to transition your shoes from winter to spring!! This utility shirt would also pair well with boyfriend jeans (see my favorites here) or even a cute pair of ankle jeans.

White denim is a year round thing. And since spring is a time for fresh and bright I thought it only natural to pair my new favorite utility shirt with white denim. The contrast of light and dark but still all pastelly (making up words) works so well. Accent your waist line with a fun belt and loose half tuck. Espadrilles are HOT this season and they pair so well with this look of white denim and utility shirt.

So this is my favorite of the three looks. I love the feminine simplicity of it. And the fact that this is actually two outfits in one is even better!! Wear the dress solo on a hot summer day or throw the utility shirt over for cooler spring afternoon. The knotted shirt really showcases the ruffles and keep you on trend. These white plastic sandals may be the best spring summer purchase. They will be perfect for the pool and come in three colors.
Creating several different outfits from one piece can save your wallet and your sanity. Thinking a little outside the box but keeping with some classic looks really helps to define and versify your wardrobe. I hope you guys have found some inspiration and ideas on how to re-wear and broaden the possibilities in your closet.
