Let’s face it… denim is my life. As a stay-at-home mom denim is my go-to for a comfortable, casual yet stylish closet staple. At the end of the day I am not sure I need to sell you on the greatness of denim but I wanted to round-up my favorites all into one place. While I gravitate towards distressed denim there are so many great pairs that are not. Making sure you have both is key to ensuring versatility in your wardrobe.

The J.Crew Factory HIGH RISE SKINNY denim are the most comfortable. Not only are they very comfortable but likely the most versatile. Given they are not a distressed denim makes them easy to pair for a more formal event, But are versatile enough to pair with sneakers and sweater. These HIGH RISE SKINNY denim are also the most cost effective at just under $40.

When it comes to denim I try to keep them under $100 but every so often I will splurge especially for a good deal. These Rag and Bone SKINNY JEANS fit that bill. Typically retailing for well over $200 these are a great steal at almost 50% off. These SKINNY JEANS are perfectly paired with both winter sweaters and summer tanks. They run a bit small so I would suggest going one size up.

While I love getting new denim I also love a good pair that will transition from year to year. These Top Shop MOTO RIPPED LUCAS JEANS are some of my favorite from last season that I am still wearing this season. The color is perfect for every occasions and I love how the only distressed part is the knees (side note: the distressing does break up after many wears). I love to wear these with just about everything but my favorite is sweaters and oversized tops. They are high-waisted so they keep everything tucked in and looking sleek! They run TTS.

This is a category that is pretty easy for me as I exclusively wear these J.Crew DARK SKINNY JEANS. So, I did not have to look very far or do much thinking for this selection. I have them in both the HIGH RISE and the LOW RISE version. Depending on the day, the mood or the amount of cupcakes I have eaten is how I decide which pair to wear. There is literally very little difference between them. Like most J.Crew denim these will last year to year as they are a classic style and color. They run TTS.

These Blank NYC DRESSED DOWN PARTY ANKLE BOYFRIEND jeans have been the most popular across Instagram and my LiketoKnow.it #fanfavorite. I couldn’t agree more and I too love them. They are soft and comfortable and the color is great blue. I love how they look stylish and trendy despite the aggressive amount of distressing. And… these DRESSED DOWN PARTY ANKLE BOYFRIEND are well under $100. They are called a ‘boyfriend’ fit denim but I would describe them to be in between a true boyfriend (baggyish) and a skinny denim (very close to the body). They run a bit large so I would suggest ordering a size down.
