Organic Floral

Preparing for fall and the changing of the seasons occupied my mind while in Spain this past week but I couldn’t help but to relish in the last few sunny and hot days.  My summer wardrobe was filled with bright colours (yes, even in London), floral prints, distressed denim shorts, white jeans and strappy sandals.  This summer I embraced a new shape of sunglasses and a new price point! I am the type of person who chooses to spend a bit more on sunglasses- typically for quality sake and typically because I feel they look better on my face but I stumbled upon these adorable round frames from Top Shop and I knew they needed to come on holiday with me.  Over the summer season I couldn’t get enough of this off the shoulder floral top from Zara (this top is out of stock but I have linked a few similar ones <Asos> <Nordstrom>) and I knew it would be the perfect beach go to.  It is light, flowy and amazingly colourful- easy to wear- stress free- and paired with denim it compliments a more relaxed style.  As we transition into fall many of my summer favourites will continue to be staples in my wardrobe including distressed denim and strappy sandals.  In the coming weeks I will, sadly, have to retire this amazing top due to the fall temps and new colour pallets but be rest assured it will make an appearance on the next holiday.  Simply put I couldn’t resist a quick post about how much I loved this top and these easily transitional sunnies.

Photos in Spain were a bit more difficult given my inability to brush, dry or curl my hair and the fact that makeup just smeared down my face due to the humidity… but I was reminded that these additional elements are meant to enhance the natural look… well this go around there was no enhancing- it was all organic… like the beach, like the experience, like life.
